Ingredients
6 ounces heavy cream
4 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
Instructions
Heat the Cream
Place the heavy cream in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the bubbles around the edges are moving rapidly.
Combine with Chocolate
Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, then allow it to stand, unstirred, for about thirty seconds.
Stir to Combine
Using a whisk, stir to combine the cream and chocolate until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Rest Before Serving
Allow the mixture to stand at room temperature for about seven to ten minutes before serving.
